Mary: the way to THE WAY. BLESSING OF THE ROAD TO MARY The blessing of the Road to Mary took place on July 22nd, 2009. Although there was significant rain in many surrounding places that evening…not a drop of rain fell on the retreat grounds that evening which pleased the two hundred plus guests (Another sign that Mary has influential Friends in high places!). The blessing itself took place at 6:00 p.m. and was followed by a pig roast reception. A good time was had by all with the final guests leaving about 9:00 p.m. You are welcome to come at any time to take a walk along that road to Jesus through Mary. Come and spend some prayerful time with our Mother, Mary.
If anyone is interested in having a brick inscribed with the name of a loved one or organization, there are many bricks still available. The cost is $75.00 for a single brick and $150.00 for a double brick. If you have any questions, please call (616) 842-3370 ext. 1. |

On July 18, 2007, the anniversary of Mary’s first apparition to St. Catherine Labouré, the statue was dedicated by Bishop Walter Hurley. This Shrine is the answer to an inspiration from God and many prayers to God. |
